Never underestimate the allure of vintage shopping.

January 23rd, 2014, 7am

It was -26.7°C with few clouds. The breeze was gentle.

On one of the coldest days of the year, though at this point those words don’t mean much anymore-a friend of mine and I decide it’s time to get ready for spring. A feeling that is far fetched and distant with the 40 mph winds blowing piles of snow everywhere. Of course, the only thing that will keep you warm is a new old brooch. As a jewelry maker myself I have wondered of the pieces I’ve sold, will they end up in a vintage store sought after by future cool, hip teenagers? One can only hope.

David Wade and Joanne said thanks.

For the first time in my life, I'm pursing a creative lifestyle full time. It's terrifying and gratifying. I drink, write, photograph, put on events and make things. However useless most of the world seems to find those things, I love them. And cooking. And dresses. Important to know.
