I spend a lot of time writing and considering all aspects of a big project before I begin to physicalize it. It will all start with a vision that nags at my psyche for months or years at a time and then I begin to write. Ideas are sketched out and questions appear.
This current project will be a big one and the number of questions that have come up around how I might create what I want to create is a bit daunting. But I make the time to sit with these questions and ponder and answer them because I know that without that work I tend to lose steam and fall into doubt around the project.
The biggest question around this project is how I am going to find people with the skill sets I’m looking for in this small and conservative city. I have a few ideas and a few leads. The answer to that question will come through the writing and the pondering and living with my ideas. Through allowing them to morph into something that I must trust will become real whether or not it resembles the initial vision in the end.
