If you know my love of graveyards, you'll understand why this is a very pleasant lunchtime spot!

April 1st, 2014, 4pm

It was 19°C with few clouds. The wind was light.

Being a lovely mild day today in London, I decided to go and sit for a while at lunchtime in St George’s Gardens - an old burial ground near my office that is now a public green space for all to enjoy.

It turns out that the burial ground was first used 200 years ago this year, and that this was the location of the first recorded case of body-snatching, which took place in 1777. Thankfully I didn’t see any body-snatchers today!
