A quiet day today. I realised that I hadn’t spoken to a soul, except the FedEx man who was delivering a parcel for my neighbour, yet I was communicating with people all over the world, via email, Whatsapp and Twitter. What a strange world we live in!

And the photo is a progress picture of my kohl rabi on my balcony garden. I’m really pleased with how it is progressing. I squished a lime green caterpillar this morning, and had to remove a few of the lower leaves that he had had the pleasures of making a meal of - at least the head is still in tact and he didn’t make a start there.
