The Bloomsbury Book Benches #7 - Sherlock Holmes stories (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle)

It was 25°C with scattered clouds. The breeze was light.

The seventh in my series on the Bloomsbury Book Benches, which can be found in Woburn Square Gardens, is a showcase for the Sherlock Holmes stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Created by the artist Valerie Osment, this is one of two that she has designed for the Books About Town project.

This coming Saturday morning (19 July) a world record breaking attempt is being made around this bench to gather the most number of people dressed as the famous detective in one place at the same time. Sadly I’m going to be busy elsewhere, but if you’re in London and free then do pop along and perhaps create a moment here on Hi about it!
