‘You know how you don’t carry money, just like the Queen,’ my sister said to me as I popped round to her flat.

‘Yes?’ I asked, puzzled and intrigued.

‘Well, I think you should have two birthdays , like the Queen too.’

I’d just learnt that the reason the Queen has two birthdays is so that she can enjoy the celebrations in nicer weather. My birthday is in September, Autumn, and my sister’s gift was a beautiful pair of designer sandals - perfect for summer parties!

I like the idea of having two birthdays, and especially looking forward to wearing these fabulous heels over the summer. Roll on lovely weather!
