The Foundling Museum, Brunswick Square

September 30th, 2013, 12pm

I remember visiting Coram’s Fields and what was left of the Foundling Hospital on a school trip when I was a child (many years ago!).

During my lunch break today I made the embarrassing mistake of wandering into the Fields, not noticing the sign that said adults can only enter if accompanied by a child. After a few minutes I was made aware of this rule by one of the staff, so made an apologetic exit!

The Museum, on the north side of Brunswick Square, is safer ground, although closed on a Monday. Not that I would visit during a lunch break - it’s not cheap to get in, so warrants a much longer visit. May be one day.
