Supporting a colleague at a comedy night onboard a ship on the River Thames. She was brilliant! And so interesting to see someone from work with a different persona up on stage. Very brave too - I couldn’t do it!
Good set from all of the other contestants too. Lots of originality and material. And a great night with work colleagues, and to be laugh out loud with abandonment. Laughter really is the best medicine!
(And people who know me know that I don’t do well on boats - I obviously hadn’t thought that through. Especially on a windy day in London which made the waters rather choppy! Luckily, I’d remembered my sea bands. Unfortunately, I hadn’t considered my outfit in the morning and wore a stripy top, and looked like one of the sailors who greeted us on board!)
