so hard to be held / and even harder to behold / the hole / that hides / in my small / universe

April 25th, 2014, 2pm

It was 10°C with few clouds. The breeze was gentle.

The picture is of the first serious piece of cross stitch my daughter Emma did using a poem I wrote. It was embroidered for a piece she submitted as part of her graphic art degree 14 years ago. Since then she has lived in Japan, Australia, Cornwall and now not very far from me in West Sussex, UK, She has continued her passion for cross stitch embarking on a number of cross stitch projects viewable here for those inclined. It gives me pleasure to see her pursuing her passions and pride that she would choose a poem of mine for her degree … .

Christine and David Wade said thanks.
