The owner first started the Backyard Axe Throwing League in his backyard. Three years later, there’s two locations in the city, one being a 7,000+ sq. ft warehouse. (where I took the picture)
It was a busy night – final night of their annual open house, a regular league and two private parties. Both private parties seemed to be corporate events –”out of place” middle aged men in custom business t-shirts over shirts and ties.
This was my second time throwing axes and I think I’m addicted – not necessarily to the sport, more the experience and the environment that allows me to observe nuance and behaviour.
