Since the clocks went back an hour at the weekend I’ve been wanting to get a photo from Blackfriars Bridge of the sunrise, but travel problems have so far thwarted me! On Monday my train was cancelled, meaning that I passed through Blackfriars too late and this morning I had to take a different route into London because of yet more train problems. So I consoled myself by taking this picture of the magnificent St Pancras Station in the early morning sun. We’ve had a couple of glorious days - sunny all day and unusually warm for late October - and I’m hoping this will last for a few more days yet, giving me the chance to get that elusive Blackfriars sunrise!
