Fatherhood. It's pretty amazing. Being a photographer on top of it just adds to the icing.

September 13th, 2014, 7pm

There are so many moments. So many fleeting moments. Can I capture them all? Should I capture them all? Sometimes I forget to just be in the moment. Sometimes that’s more important. I have to make a conscious effort to leave the camera behind. I used to fret over that. I’ll still have the moment. I’ll still be the photographer. The only difference being that it’s just for me.

But, then there are times when you look up and realize that those 5 year old feet aren’t going to be 5 much longer. Someday soon I’ll wake up and they’ll be 25. What then? Where will she be? Who will she be?

There will be this moment. A single frozen moment. Her feet peeking around the corner. I’ll have it forever.
