Day 52 #100HappyDays: Tears

May 2nd, 2014, 8pm

It was 11°C with few clouds. The breeze was light.

This is not a photo of my happy moment but it is such a strange phenomenon that I had to capture the moment my cheese plant started to cry. I returned home from my trip to find everything blooming on my balcony, but the cheese plant’s leaves were starting to droop. I gave it some water but obviously gave it too much as it’s started to cry again.

And my happy moment? Getting praise from the hygenist - yes, I’ve finally cracked it, I think! No, my happy moment was dropping by after the hygenist visit, as my reward, to see my nephew. He was full of beans.

And it was the first time that he smiled at me with recognition and gave me a voluntary big bear hug, a tug of my trousers and a poke of my tongue. I’m a proud and chuffed aunt!

Adrian and Christine said thanks.
