Rushing to the station yesterday afternoon to catch my train home I just had to stop to snap this picture, as the angle and colour of the light on the side of the hotel building that forms part of St Pancras Station seemed to set the red bricks on fire! The glow was intense and beautiful, but fleeting.

I love the fact that this building that is so familiar to me can still pull some surprises!
