Typographic street art

April 24th, 2014, 1pm

This wonderful hoarding is located just north west of King’s Cross station, across the road from St Pancras Station, on the corner of King’s Boulevard. It serves as a huge marker for the entrance to King’s Cross Central (KXC), a massive re-development project covering the old railway lands. When finished KXC will consist of a mix of offices, homes, retails units and public open spaces, including improved frontages along a stretch of the Regent’s Canal. Already located here is Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design - in Granary Square - and Google are going to be building their UK HQ here once they’ve agreed the design of the building (they decided they weren’t happy with the design that actually received planning consent!).

The mural on the hoarding is by Gregori Saavedra.
