I stayed here only one night, but it felt longer than that… I guess it was more on how I perceived this place, being in an alternate dystopian future, a future that never happened. A future where my flying car was about to dock outside and take me to the nearest spaceport.
Being in that box allowed me to daydream about where we’re supposed to be by now according to the past’s predictions.
It is a weird kind of nostalgia, William Gibson captured a side of it in his short story “The Gernsback Continuum”.
