I watched Saving Mr Banks on the plane (it’s a great film - I like Mrs Travers; a feisty independent woman who speaks her mind) and as the main character opens the door to her home after a trip away, she says ‘Hello house’.
It’s nice to be home. It was a fun trip and really successful, but there is something nice about getting home and being around your own things. I feel like I’ve been away for a long time.
And it’s nice to be able to decide what I want to eat and not for it to be dictated by an airline’s schedule and delivered on tiny trays. And no Asian food for a while (my Mum won’t be pleased - she can’t believe I don’t eat rice every night anyway!)
