A doe-eyed deer, chews cud as it looks on, behind the zoo bars of Jaipur Zoo.

September 4th, 2011, 3pm

Jaipur zoo is a calm place apart from the chatter of the visitors and birds in large enclosures. The enclosure for the herds of deer(s) is tucked away in a corner and doesn’t really have many visitors because of the crude silence and lack of engaging activity. These spotted wonders hop around, chew cud and give out sly smiles at the onlookers, once in a while. They are easily startled by small noises but enjoy their time, in the company of their peers and spreading their avid gentleness and just generally hogging on wet green grass.
