"Why not use my wall as a whiteboard?" I thought - and I did.

It was 12°C with clouds and visibility OK. The breeze was gentle.

Walls are underrated.. you can do so many things with them! Like hang pictures, paint a mural or deciding to use them as a whiteboard.

My dinning room has recently got the status of “office”. I like working on a big table and making a mess out of it! But now it was time to set things clear. From my last post I shared with the “Hi-community”, I realized that if I wanted to dip my fingers into different businesses I had to do this in an orderly fashion, I had to call my inner Dutch side.

I bought big parchments of sketching paper, felt pens and tape that will not bring my wall down with it. I invited my friend who I am partnering up to open a mexican bar and we had this amazing brainstorm session where we got a time-line and actions points set for the coming months (see picture). I made great use of my loyal post-its, and 2 sheets of paper later we were on track.

Today I moved these to a side and placed a new “white board”, this time for my own business (I will have to share that picture as well). I worked out again what I had to do, and who I would have to call. Today was a great productive day.

As I was eating lunch, looking at my covered wall, I couldn’t help grinning at this “whiteboard” - I like, no LOVE, to see exactly where I’m at, and where I’m going to - even if it’s only for a few days until something shifts and I have to throw some of these pages away (most probably in a dramatic fashion of ripping them apart). But that is the beauty of a whiteboard! Erase and start over.

So, before you go home, buy a big parchment of paper, stick it on your wall and let the magic do its work.

David Wade, Adrian and Samuel said thanks.
