A day full of happy moments, starting with breakfast on my balcony. A bit nippy but nice to be outdoors, amongst my plants and the ever-changing tulips (both shape and colour). Then I had yummy dim sum lunch with my parents and an overexcited brother, off to Wembley to see Arsenal in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
Saw some beautiful old RT-family buses along Piccadilly in celebration of its 75th anniversary.
I then made my Mum walk miles across London, looking for Berkeley Square and Dale Chihuly’s The Sun sculpture. I thought it was further along and nearer Oxford Street, but it turns out it is nearer Green Park/Piccadilly/Regent’s Street (where we started!) Still, we got to explore the fancy area of Mayfair and I finally strolled around Grosvenor Square (can’t believe I’ve never been before.)
And then I screamed the flat down, watching the penalty shootout. Well done Arsenal!
