Originally called the Post Office Tower, the BT Tower, as it is now known, was completed 50 years ago this summer. It stands on the north side of London’s West End in a part of London called Fitzrovia and has seen quite a few changes unfolding below over those 50 years.
In London’s Olympic year - 2012 - a 320 Gigapixel panoramic photo of London was created from pictures taken from the BT Tower, so this is the place to go to if you want to zoom into central London for a closer look.
