It’s London Tree Week this week and I’ve enjoyed the tweets, with lovely photos of London trees on Twitter. I was inspired to take a photo of a tree today, but it has been miserable, rainy and grey outside all day. I’m working at home today so haven’t ventured out to take a photo, so the next best thing is my balcony garden.
My balcony garden is my refuge, my solace, my peaceful place. I’ve been feeling anxiety today. Nothing I can put my finger on. And then to top it off, I get an upsetting text. My balcony garden is the only place I feel calm and at peace. So I sit out there, listening to the leaves rustling in the wind, and brush my fingers on the peach tree leaves, and everything else slips away …
