Here is the ‘twin’ for the doorstep at number 24, although a quick glance will immediately tell you these are not twins of the identical variety!
Unlike number 24, this design has more random elements within the overall patterned structure and contains a wider range of colours. The geometrist (is that a word??) within me loves the predictability of number 24, but this more free-flowing design has its merits too. Both are worthy additions to the Delightful Doorsteps series.
Although I’m not sure where to start, I would love to find out more about when these two mosaics were created and by whom. If I get anywhere with that, I’ll add the information here.
