Outside the almost-completed new Francis Crick Institute building next to St Pancras International Station, London’s newest piece of public art was installed a couple of days ago.
Standing 14 metres high, Paradigm was created by Conrad Shawcross and consists of stacked tetrahedra made of weathered steel. I’m looking forward to when all the construction work is finally completed and the surrounding barriers removed so that I can take a much closer look, not just at the sculpture but at the whole building, which I happen to think is really rather impressive.
You can read more about the sculpture here on the Francis Crick web site.
