I have a slight obsession with broderie anglaise - open embroidery in a floral pattern, or cut-outs - my wardrobe contains many items made of it.

I was off to a judges’ lunch today so wore a broderie anglaise dress. I liked the shadows the cut-out daisies created in the morning sunshine. And in this photo, like a charcoal drawing.
