Not much of substance in the topic I suppose, but I enjoyed seeing the varieties of the coffee experience in the modern world. Not forgetting that the coffee house (along with algebra, the astrolabe and lots of other cultural and scientific advances) were given to us by Islam.
Anyhow, this is where we had coffee yesterday, along with a delicious brunch: thin crust pizza and scrumptiously fresh salad. An old Swiss-Italian farm house set amidst Lavender fields. For those who don’t know Shepherd’s Flat, it’s just beyond Hepburn Springs, which is quite close to Daylesford, which is 90 minutes north west of Melbourne.
