Pallets

February 17th, 2014, 9am

My Monday morning commute to work, hampered by a slow moving train, caught up with several trains queuing to get into the station.

The newspaper headlines were awash with commuters’ dissatisfaction with the train companies. But I was seeing the positive in the situation. We’d stopped outside Waterloo, in Vauxhall, by New Covent Garden Market. Fruit and veg sold from these many pallets.

I liked the shapes the pallets made, and the view that I was being given. My fellow commuters all stared as I took my camera out, but the train would never stop here again, so I took it as a sign to take my shot.
