Full Honey Moon

June 12th, 2014, 10pm

Last night’s full moon was a doozy. After all it was only about 362,074 km (224,998 mi) away from us at perigee. This photo shows moonlight splashed out over Dana Point Harbour. The white in the center of the moon is just an artifact of my little point-and-click. If you click on the pic above, you can see the same artifact (white center, yellow rim) in the harbor lights at the bottom of the photo.
