I began walking at 7:20 am to avoid the projected heat of the day. I was walking a paved multi-use trail - a 10 km jaunt from Cameron Heights to 106 street. After 1.5km or so, the trail dipped into this meadow. The Anthony Henday freeway was a mere 500m away, but I stood in this spot for 10 minutes, watching the morning light unfold across this easily-missed enclave in the valley of the North Saskatchewan river. Cyclists and joggers passed by, but I was content to let a few minutes slide away without ambition or concern.
Wow what should I "sketch" about? At work right now, my mind is so full of thoughts I think I'm going to enjoy this:-)
Lilies in the North
Evening hike through Whitemud Ravine. The light was swift and lovely.
Rough day at the office, so I decided to have ice cream in the valley. The right choice.
Patricia Ravine. I climbed a massive staircase to get this view, but it was well worth it.
The errant path. The happy accident.
The speed of things.
Leaves blown around in a circle. Today I am a leaf.
Blue Jay on my ride to work this morning. Time slowed a little.
