We’ve enjoyed glorious weather today, a Bank Holiday in the UK, so we took the opportunity to go for a walk, starting in the fields behind our house and ending up in these woods - Long Wood - where we came across so many bluebells!
Down in the valley runs the River Bourne, which you can hear in the background of this recording.
I ended up taking lots of photos of the bluebells, but I don’t think they’re ever able to capture the real impact that you get when you’re there in person. I also tried to take a photo of a bumblebee that was buzzing about among the bluebells, but it kept taking off just as I pressed the button! Here’s an example:
