Since getting married (23 years ago), we’ve spent every Christmas at my in-laws’ house. This year is no different (you can’t mess with tradition!), and last night it was lovely sitting by the fire, looking forward to today.
So far today we’ve been to church to join with friends to worship God for the wonderful truth of the incarnation, and now we’re getting dinner ready (turkey and all trimmings, obviously!).
After that we’ll listen to the Queen’s Speech. And only after that will we be opening our presents.
Tradition reigns at this time of year!
HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!
