From 21 February to 4 May 2014 is held in Montpellier a retrospective of Linda McCartney’s work. Over the months tidbits in the local press have consistently echoed the involvement of her husband and her children in the implementation of this exhibition, but february 15, a brief from the local newspaper really launched the rumor. It read : Paul McCartney, the former Beatle, could be present thursday in Montpellier for the opening of the exhibition of photos of his ex-wife Linda. No official confirmation yet.
The goal here is to take an altogether trivial event - the coming of McCartney in Montpellier for the inauguration of an exhibition - and tell what it means deep inside to cross the path of a guy whose music accompanies you since adolescence. Also, I remembered the book of François Pachet, Comment je n’ai pas rencontré Paul McCartney (How I have not met Paul McCartney), whose echoes can be found here.
