The storm has managed to kill off all trains to London so far this morning (as predicted), so I took the opportunity to pop out with my camera, hoping to capture some scenes of devastation. It turns out that our village is unscathed, apart from a few twigs and small branches strewn about on the roads and pavements and some rubbish bins lying on their sides.
I must admit that I was a little disappointed!
But I did notice that the sun was trying to push through the fast-moving clouds, so I settled for a photo of that instead.
