The world-famous Red Arrows (or the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, to use their official title) are just starting their 50th year of displays, and my son and I got to see them the other week at the Biggin Hill Festival of Flight.
The low cloud sadly meant that some of their maneuvers had to be adapted, but it was still an impressive show, watching their Hawk T1A aircraft darting about the sky in various formations. Do catch them if you ever get the chance!
