The Hermann Park Conservancy plans to renovate the current facilities from the Chinese pagoda through the rose garden and the fragrant garden. Parking and entrances will be moved. New grander buildings will be built. A hill will be created where the current maintenance shed sits and a water fall will flow down it into a big reflection pool. You can read about it here: http://hermannpark.org/centennial_gardens.php. The pagoda will be moved and new rose gardens will be created. I’m curious if many roses will be moved or if they will just plant new ones.
I’m ambivalent because one of my favorite locations in New York City, the Morgan Library, was renovated and became lost to me. I’ve tried to enjoy myself in the new facility, but it’s just not the same.

I've missed seeing the train on a daily basis. Living in the suburbs is better and not.
