I had the day off work on Friday, so I was able to go and buy the Christmas Tree to put up in our small house. My daughter was home from university, so we let her decorate the tree while I put some lights up round the room.

As I don’t seem to be able to take decent pictures indoors in artificial light, I had to resort to the arty approach and add some deliberate movement.

I must admit to feeling rather pleased with myself for getting two sets of quite expensive multicoloured Christmas lights after Christmas last year in a “75% off” sale. Bargains like that always look nicer, don’t they?!
